Recipe Suggestion:

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 lb beef blade (top blade) roast

  • Salt & pepper

  • 2 Tbsp oil

  • ~2 cups beef broth

  • ~2 cups pasta sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350–375 °F (175–190 °C).

  2. Season and brown roast on all sides in a heavy pot with oil.

  3. Add half broth, half pasta sauce to cover ~¾ of roast. Bring to a simmer.

  4. Cover and bake 2½–3 hrs, flipping halfway, until fork-tender.

  5. Rest roast 10 min; remove, reduce sauce on stovetop.

  6. Slice and serve with mashed potatoes or veggies.
