Your deposit reserves your pork share, is non-refundable, and will be applied toward your final balance.

All pork shares are professionally processed by C. Roy’s in Yale, Michigan.

Hanging Weight vs. Take-Home Weight

Our pork shares are priced by hanging weight, not the final amount of packaged pork you take home.

Hanging weight is the weight of the carcass after harvest and initial processing. This is the weight used to calculate your $4/lb farm cost.

Take-home weight is the amount of finished, packaged pork you receive after cutting and processing. It will be less than the hanging weight due to bones, fat, trim, moisture loss, and your individual cut selections.

Final hanging weights and take-home yields vary by animal and cannot be guaranteed ahead of time. If you would like help maximizing your take home weight please contact us. We are happy to help guide customers through the ordering process.
